Diyu Chen, M.D., M.E.

Diyu was the labŐs graduate research assistant from 2004-2007. She worked on visual working memory as well as cultural differences in visual cognition. She continues her pursuit of a doctorŐs degree at Harvard School of Education.

Igor Bascandziev, Ed.M

Igor was the labŐs graduate research assistant in 2007. He worked on contextual cueing. Igor continues his work as a doctoral student at Harvard School of Education.

Valeria Rausei

Valeria worked in JiangLab as a visiting student from the University of Trento for seven months in 2006. She worked on contextual cueing and will continue researching on this topic as part of her dissertation.

Gustavo Vazquez

Gustavo worked in JiangLab as a visiting student from the University of Santiago for three months in fall 2007. He collaborated with Tal Makovski on visual learning in multiple object tracking.

Sidney Burks, M.S.

Sidney was JiangLabŐs first full-time research assistant and lab manager (2003-2004), after receiving his B.S. in physics from MIT. He played a key role setting up JiangLab computer system, including Linux servers for fMRI data analysis. Sidney left the lab to attend graduate school in math and engineering in France. He earned a Masters in Engineering, Material Science in 2006 from Ecole des Mines de Paris. He is currently working on a MasterŐs of Science in Atomc and Molecular Physics at the University of Paris VI, preparing for Doctorat next year.

Livia King, B.S.

Livia inherited SidneyŐs post during 2004-2005. Her research focused on the neural substrates of visual context learning. Livia is currently a graduate student at MITŐs BCS department, where he studies reading and the visual word form area at Dr. John GabrieliŐs lab.

Joshua Hartshorne, B.A.

Josh was the labŐs research assistant from 2006-2007. He initiated the web-based experiments. Josh will attend graduate school at Harvard psychology department with Dr. Jesse Snedeker. He will continue to run web-based experiments at Snedeker lab.

Kris Liu, B.S.

Kris worked in JiangLab first in 2004, when she was an undergraduate student at Welleslley College. Kris returned to the lab in 2006-2007 as a research assistant.
